The Indian Companies Act passed by the Indian Government in 2013, mandates Indian and Foreign companies operating in India to spend a certain amount towards CSR activities that make a positive impact on the society.

Supporting education is one of the permissible activities under the act and rightly so, as education can impact a nation’s economic growth and individual prosperity.

It aims to create a significant improvement in the quality of education imparted to student in rural and semi-urban schools, by setting up computer labs to increase computer literacy.
